June Favorites!

Hi guys! :)

Since today is July 2nd after all (happy birthday to my sister Shannon!), I thought I'd share with you my favorite products from June! These are products that are pretty inexpensive and GREAT for the summer months. If you notice, most of all my pictures are taken using a flag background because I'm SO EXCITED for Independence day ( 4th of July if you're reading this in America lol). Without further ado, here are my June Favorites! :)

My Favorite Hair Products:

1. Psssst! Instant Dry Shampoo ($6.29)

Product Claims:
*Refresh and Revive
*Extends Blowout and Color Life
*Absorbs Excess Oils
*Builds Volume on-the-go

This is my favorite dry shampoo. Before using this one, I tried a couple of different ones, and they pale in comparison. This one has a nice subtle tropical scent, whereas a the few that I had tried had funky scents. I love how easy it is to apply---just shake and spray throughout your roots. Perfect for summer when hair can tend to get greasy and oily faster.

2. Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray ($5.99)

Product Claims:
*Adds sexy, tousled waves
*Texturizes and separates
*Infused with sea salt and sea kelp

This sea salt spray is perfect. It smells AMAZING, like coconut and vanilla, and is perfect for taming my frizzy, wavy hair. It gives my hair a nice beachy vibe and keeps its shape even in Oklahoma humidity.

My Favorite Skincare Products:

1. Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter ($15.00)

Product Claims:
*Intensely moisturizing cream with skin-loving naturals
*Shea and Mango Butters

I love this lotion, especially the way it smells. It smells good enough to eat and is incredibly hydrating. A tad more pricey than some lotions, but it is definitely worth it (I found mine in a 3 piece gift set around Christmastime at a local Marshall's).

2. St. Ives Fresh Hydration Lotion ($7.99)

Product Claims:
*Naturally Indulgent
*Feels light and pure on skin
*Has coconut milk and orchid extract

This lotion is one of my favorites, especially for summer. I got it as a freebie to try (I am a Beauty Advisor at Walgreens) and this will definitely be a lotion I'd recommend especially for the summer months. When sprayed on, the lotion is light and airy. It takes seconds to apply. And the fragrance, yet again, smells amazing (If you can't tell, I like tropical scents).

3. Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer ($9.97)

Product Claims:
*Contains pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E
*Skin-loving ingredients: Allantoin, Bisabol, and Glycerin
*No artificial perfumes, dyes or harsh irritants that can upset your skin
*Broad spectrum SPF 15 to protect from UVA and UVB rays

For someone with sensitive skin, its hard to find a moisturizer that won't break me out. This one is perfect. The moisturizer has a slight sunscreen scent, but that usually comes with products that contain SPF. Otherwise, there are no fragrances in this moisturizer. It goes on and blends smoothly and the sunscreen in it keeps my super fair freckled face from burning.

My Favorite Makeup Products:

1. E.L.F. Ariel Treasure Within Beauty Book ($9.99)

This beauty book is by far my most favorite item this month. All of the colors are so easy to work with and blend very well. I have already created two looks using this palette. The bronzers included are also really nice and give your face a nice, sun-kissed glow. Perfect for a nice, summery makeup look. The possibilities are endless.

2. Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara ($2.99)

A mascara this cheap must be crap, right? COULDN'T BE MORE WRONG. This mascara is seriously the bomb. Really good at not only volumizing the lashes but also lengthening the lashes as well. It really helps define my short, sparse lashes. It isn't waterproof, so avoid this one if you're headed to the beach or pool, but its great for family barbecues and watching fireworks with your special someone.

3. (Last but not Least) Sinful Colors Nail Polishes ($1.99)
Colors in the photo left to right: Green Ocean, Dream On, and Savage

Not only are these polishes cheap, they are incredibly long-lasting and durable. These babies typically only take one coat as well and are super opaque. There are also a variety of finishes, from sparkly to shiny to matte. Dream On and Savage are actually matte, but paired with a good top coat, they can shine. Sinful Colors also has a good gel line as well.

***So that's it with my June Favorites! Thank you so much for reading and I hope that this helps you find some new items to use this summer! If anyone has any topic ideas or would like me to review any products, please feel free to let me know!***
